Dr. Dre has been promising Detox, his latest solo album, for so long now that it doesn't even make sense to call it rap's Chinese Democracy anymore. (Chinese Democracy, after all, actually exists now.) So the couple seconds' worth of muddy Detox audio you hear in a new Dr. Pepper commercial constitutes a pretty big deal. According to Billboard, the bit in the ad comes from a track called "Shit Popped Off". It's set to hit television screens June 1.
