Good thing Celebtwitter cached the tweets. Rappers never learn. If you don’t want people to know, never ever ever put it online. Proceed to read Soulja Boy’s “cracker” tirade in its entirety.
Here’s the text version:
Shit ain’t how it use to be. Niggaz always fucking up public shit. Niggaz always hating… this world is looking real ugly right now…
Yeah I said. fuck all of yall. I’m taking my money and leaving. Gonna go blow kush and live my 2nd dream. this rap shit lame now
Like why? Like really. My music dream was THE SHIT 2 years ago before I was signed. It was everything I could ever imagine.
Then I get signed. this is where my dream slowly died.. these crackaz wanna critcize a nigga. take REAL SHIT and turn it to trash
Water down my music and my appearance and make me look like something i’m not. THESE CRACKERS DONT KNOW WHO THE FUCK I REALLY AM!!!
I go to the studio make new music for my fans to enjoy and party to. They take my shit hate on me. Make me look ignorant in the media
It’s all bullshit. Like WHY do I have to put up with this? because it’s my dream? that shit died when crank that went #1
I know what you thinking. But SOULJA BOY its the American dream your rich I would kill to be in your shoes. thats what you THINK its all BS!
They say soulja boy u changed. soulja boy u hollywood I ain’t ask for this SHIT!!!!!! I want it to go back to how it was before i was signed
I might be soundin crazy now.. I don’t really know about alot of things these days. But I just want EveryBODY to know this shit
Just KNOW that i’m only 18 man… And it’s only so much I can do. It’s only so much I can take. If your really fans and love and support me
You would hear me out and help ya boy get thru this shit..

I kinda feel bad for him. Sure his music sucks but soooo many people love it. (I dont ) At this point i think he is just trying to appeal to his demographic.
On the other hand i dont care if he leaves. He hasnt contributed enough to the Hip Hop communtiy for me to care.

So will he do hip hop or the world a favor? I feel bad for him though, one song and your the most repeated song in the world. He got people dancing and everyone else caught on. We won't miss "yyyyyyooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuu" I kiss you through the phone and still play a real rapper like Talib Kweli.

Music? Yeah right, yelling "ohhhhhh!" and dancing around like a 5 year old on crack doenst make you a musician.
I hope he follows through with his rant.
But if he doesnt, its no big deal, he will fade out eventually and end up as broke as MC Hammer.Goodluck anyway...douche.

And so no-talent, played-out rappers become the proverbial internet-tough-guy in the end. Sad, but fitting.

Amen. I'm sick of this crap they try to call music. This is my opinion, mind you. It's not music about living in the streets. It's music glorifying violence and things in the status quo, such as demeaning women, substance abuse, and how you need to carry your 'piece' with you at all times, because, you know, you might get plugged.
I like the idea of rap, which is the freestyle vocalization that is associated with living in the worst conditions and speaking out against it, just not the execution. This is why I prefer bands like A Tribe Called Quest. Their music spoke to a generation living in terrible conditions. Their music spoke to me too. They don't fall into the same traps as most rappers do. The glorification of the 'thug life' and self-interest.

woa, slow your roll a bit buddy...lets not make him a reprensentative of the whole rap/hiphop's true industry...yes he may give it a bad name (maybe not so much, give the boy a second thought before your quick to judge) but obviously you don't know the industry and the artist that really defines what hip hop IS.
do your research and be open. This goest to all the narrow-minded judgers, not sayin your one
