All Wrapped Up At Rothbury Festival 2009

It was four days of music, greening and exploring the wonders of live music culture. Check out what happened as I traveled through "Reincarnation" in Sherwood Forest, caught a Broken Social Scene mini-concert and recovered from a backstage beat down by the Michigan State Police.

    • man... the police rundown sounded rough... but you did not capture the feel of this weekend at all in this so far... sure reincarnation was very nice, but the overall visual stimulus of the woods at night was just completely mind blowing.

and then the music sets... did you see the cheese 2nd set?! or the first night of sts9 or disco biscuts... or umphrey's mcgee?! i mean sure they are not major headliners like dave (and don't get me wrong, i LOVE dave live), but these shows had so much heart and soul into them that... well words can't really do them justice... you just had to be there

Yes, the woods at night was fantastic! My wife took some great shots and I planned on doing a future post exactly about the visual stimulus. I'd love to have you contribute a fan experience perspective to the future post. please contact me at chris@christophercatania.com. if your interested.

As far as Umphree's and String Cheese, I'll have to admit that I didn't see them because I had different editorial direction for the music coverage. But again, I'd would welcome your perspective on future posts as I regulary feature fan experience on my Live Fix blog.
