interesting point. the style of the music is in deed nothing brand new, but the lyrics are far more contemporary and often about things women couldn't sing about 50 years ago, so the contrast of new and old is fascinating to me. And three strong women from the South, speaking their minds is always cool with me.

The music and energy behind it are great. Just because it's played by attractive hipsters rather than traditional yokels doesn't make a goddamn difference in the execution.

I completely agree. Just because they are attractive, doesn't give them a good sound. Maybe to that genre, but then gain, they typically have to sing well. :P Its true. Don't knock it just cause its a mean thing to say.
