"Unless it's sounds of [Thom Yorke] belching, I think I'll put it in", said the director.
Am I the only one hoping it's sounds of Thom Yorke belching?

Damn.
That's cool and all but I would have preferred them to collaborate!
I was hoping to hear a Yorke/Bon Iver collabo!
Still cool... as long as it's not stuff that's already been released!!!! I hate it when they do that! - 2 years ago

So Thom and gang turned down Fight Club but they'll do twilight? Dollar signs are coming to mind. How about yorke vomiting instead of belching? I think it'll give the film tone.

I always told myself to ignore Thom's lazy eye...but after this...I might just make fun of him for it..

Headline is wrong. They each will have a song in the film but Alexandre Desplat is creating the score.

It's misleading, but it isn't incorrect. Writing music for a film is scoring it.

why do people hate this movie so much, i saw it last week and sure it’s not great and downright laughable in parts, but it's aimed at teenage girls, not the cynical eyes of our kind.... and thom yorke is arguably the most pretentious douche in music.... i mean he adds a h to tom for christ sake

I love Bon Iver and Yorke is one of the greatest singers of all time, it really is a shame this is the film they put their efforts towards. Im a hater of this film, its quite poor. The writing, the acting and direction is sub-par. Hopefully when listening to the music It wont make me think of this trash.

Exactly. I'm not criticising Weitz for using Thom Yorke's and Bon Iver's songs, but the fact they both wrote NEW songs inspired by this rubbish saga!

Why would they do this?
Well, either way, I won't be watching.
Although, it does make me laugh to imagine the whole soundtrack to be belching, with all the serious vampirical love twists or whatever. - 2 years ago

I don't know, something tells me these slightly deranged, often morbidly obese fangirls do not have the most sophisticated taste in music. YES, I HAVE PREJUDICES.
Is the Twilight saga trying to gain some sort of indie cred? I thought it would be the kind of film to go with a Céline Dion theme tune...

I think you should see it. It's pretty terrible, but entertainingly so and fun to critique and analyze. It's also a pop culture phenomenon and makes sense to be familiar with with the mythology for conversational and debate purposes.
But I discourage you from actually paying to see it. Check it out from your library or pirate it.

It's bloody great. Everyone is fit in it, straight from the Disney lab infact. The half is fun, then it leaves it's rather enjoyable snideness and camerawork and descends into a Buffy TV flick.

I'm gonna sound like such a tween girl, but the books were very good.I read all of them in a week. The movie not so much because they marketed it towards the pre/teen age group. It should've been way darker.
