Shawn Feeney is a musician and former forensic artist who combines musical instruments with people to create off-kilter and clever sketches. Feeney sees musical instruments as an extension of one’s body – prosthetics for body parts we never had which can extend and transform our voices, gestures and exhalations. Feeney’s art poses the simple question of ‘what if the prosthetics were unnecessary?’ His art series imagines bodies with musical anatomies while paying tribute to a variety of musical genres and legendary musicians.
