This story pretty much sums it up well.
Popular Music in general really needs a delivery system that in my opinion would be like this:
A search engine that would allow you to pull the singles or albums you would like to purchase and be able to listen to the complete song. (see playlist.com) this includes remixes, instrumental versions and covers.
Being able to purchase songs (singles) at a reasonable 3 tier price structure. 49 cents, 99 cents, and $1.49.I really like these features of Playlist.com commitment to new/indie music be it rock or electronic based and The access to other peoples playlist, this gives you great insight into types of similar music out there.
Access to the groups or artist videos would be cool.
