The Pope's debut album, Alma Mater, will be released on 30 November, just in time for your Christmas shopping. It will contain a collection of prayers sung in different languages and the accompanying pieces of modern classical music have been recorded at Abbey Road Studios.
Which songs would you like him to sing? Who should play in a hypothetical Pope band? What should be his moniker?

That'll definitely be interesting, I recently been studying "High Church" religious cultures, this is great. He's following the great tradition of the church's celebration of the arts.
I know I'm going to be listening to classical on Pandora one day and "The Pope" is going to come up as an artist. I hope he plays sweet guitar riffs.

I love that his record label is the same as Guns n' Roses, Elton John, Donna Summer and Snoop Dogg if he could form a band with them, it'd rock. Alternatively he could perform with "Sister" Sledge!
