LA’s Hard Festival Gets Shut Down By Riot Police

Image

Fans attending this weekends Hard Summer Festival were forced to leave early after the Los Angeles Police shut down the event. The bash, which took place Saturday August 8, was set to go on all-night but was over only a few hours after it kicked off. Shortly after Canadian duo Crystal Castles finished their set riot police came in to the venue.

    • There is no free world, everyone else has the right to tell you what you can or can't say, do to others or w/ yourself even if you don't infringe on others' rights. I say that we are interfering w/ natural selection when we stop this crap. Let those too stupid to realize that they're probably going to die, die... know what I mean? Don't get me wrong, I'm crazy as hell and have done some dumb shit but...lol! Just like the other day when I was watching Tori and Dean on E and the Fire Dept made them move a decorative mushroom statue (for a bday party) away from the pool (it was a good 100 feet off the pool) because kids might be enticed to the mushroom statue and then somehow fall in the pool.... bogus. Mind your beezwax.

    • I'll say it again, everyone is at fault here.
A.) Holding a dance event in a seated arena and selling UPPER LEVEL tickets to ALL AGES, AND everyone is rolling?
B.) At the end of the day, it is YOU who jumped off the upper level and either broke your legs or killed yourself, or refused to move from the exits.
I dislike how electro has become a fad/"scene". As a DJ/producer myself, I really wish that electro was back out of the mainstream... or appreciated more.

amen brotha, amen. I blame abbleton ; )

Don't worry electro will be out of the mainstream as soon as the next fad comes in. I'm really hoping it isn't funk or italo disco. Take country, that I wont miss too much.
