Guitar legend Les Paul dies at age 94

He was such a legend, but he'll never be forgotten, thanks to his amazing guitars.

he invented one hell of a guitar. i never liked the new ones though, the old classical ones were amazing

I didn't even know he was still alive. That really does suck.

I know my Gibson V wouldn't be what it is without this man.

He'll be missed.

Despite my affinity for Tele's, the feel of a Les Paul guitar is incomparable. Playing one makes you want to play better just to do the thing justice; through it Les Paul will live forever.

Les Paul was one of, if not ,THE most influential guitar player, inventor, luthiers that has ever lived. He took us from 2 tracks to 8. He made some of the most beautiful and durable guitars ever. He will live on in a lingering lead on a stage in a little smokey bar in every city in America, 7 nights a week, til' the money or the booze runs out.

All the good people are now exiting the building.

Its so cool looking back on his duets with Mary ford and how good he was live and in the studio. All the emulators cant even come close, especially The White Stripes on the conan finale.

A true Master Minstrel has passed. His innovations are part of every recording session, every electric guitar...yet went quietly . Always wondered what kinds of things the worlds greatest guitar players said to him over the years. He just wanted to play better.
