As part of our "Music in Gaming" series here on Total Gaming Network, we're aiming to bring both the gamers and musicians featured in games closer together. This month's featured band has been the band Bang Camaro. Their music has been featured in such games as Rock Band and Titan Quest. Thanks to Artwerk, the dedicated music label for Electronic Arts, we were able to ask Bang Camaro member Alex some questions. Check it out:
"What has your experience been like working with Artwerk and Electronic Arts?
So far so good. Artwerk and EA have been big supporters of our unique brand of hard rock. Having had the good fortune of having our songs featured in Guitar Hero II and Rock Band I and II, our inclusion in additional video game titles has been a no-brainer and has helped spread the word about the band. We are truly grateful for the partnership.
Your music has been featured in a few different games now including Rock Band and Titan Quest. What was it like hearing your music in a game for the first time?
It's a thrill. Those songs that appeared in Titan Quest and Rock Band were mostly recorded in our bedrooms. To be able to write a song with your friends for fun and then see it included in games that are played by millions is amazing."
