Common, Nas, The Roots Perform For Good Cause

Common's [click to read] Common Ground Foundation will be hosting a night of Hip Hop performances for a good cause with a line up full of stars. Nas, De La Soul, The Roots and Ludacris are already set to perform on Saturday, September 26 at the Hollywood Palladium in a show that will benefit the charitable foundation that prides itself on helping urban youth in America.

Common & Friends will be presented by Hennessy Artistry and Com says he's excited for this year's event because of the progress his foundation has made in the last year.

"My annual concert for the Common Ground Foundation is very inspiring and I'm very excited to be a part of it,” Common said in a statement. “Seeing the progress that we've made with the Foundation since last year, and with all the incredible artists we have performing, we can bring more attention and awareness to fulfilling our purpose and serving our communities."

While Nas, De La Soul, The Roots and Ludacris are currently slated to hit the stage, special guests are also expected to make appearences.
General admission tickets can be purchased for $100 and VIP balcony tickets are going for $200. General admission is for all ages while the VIP is only for those who are 21 years of age and older. Tickets for the event can be purchased through Live Nation.
