personally i never had a problem with t-pain using auto-tune...he was the one that brought it back...it was everyone else that hopped on just because it became a trend that i had a problem with

auto-tune has been in use since the 80s in pop music, the only thing that is going to change now is that it will be hidden again so we will never really know just how many Ashlee Simpsons there are in the world.
On a different note, it gives me a whole lot more respect for a girl like Katy Perry who has no shame to get on stage and show off her terrible voice.

Auto-tune is a useful tool, but it def is overused to make people sound better than they are and to get more sales for artist who are just ho-hum. You gotta admit tho, who here hasn't downloaded the "I am T-Pain" app on their iPhone/ITouch? :P
