I say save judgments for after you see the film. I for one, felt like this was one of the first times Hollywood didnt ruin a classic memory from my childhood.
ps- pretty much EVERY movie is made into a video game now...nothing new. Hell, they somehow made a City of Lost Children into video game! The movies have nothing to do with the games really.

I was in total support of this movie 'til I read the video game comment. Now I'm pissed off.

Kinda pathetic that a movie, before even being released, is saved by ONE song in the trailer.
That's also totally leaving out the fact that a childhood classic is now being animated into a movie AND - *gasp!* - a video game... I'm not even kidding, they're making a video game adaptation of the movie.
Leave my innocent childhood alone, you ignorant fools! >_>
(also, this film costed between $90 - $100 million, and only brought back $32.7 million... kinda speaks for itself)

do you usually pre-judge how good something is by how much money it makes?
