Ex-Smiths front man, Morrissey collapsed on stage last night at his gig in Swindon, England.

He opened the set with his classic song 'This Charming Man' and fell to the floor. He was taken off the stage by medical staff.

No word on his condition.

    • People need to realize that Morrissey is gettig up there. He can't be running around on a hot stage fulling dressed in his vel-va-teen suites and not expect to finish the show in one piece. The man is over fifty and I think he needs to retire or at least bring a wheel chair with hiimself as you sings mellodramatic songs about people whom have died around him and people whom want to belong. I have no problem with Morrissey or with his past band The Smiths, but he needs to know when to call it... Rodney E

Nah, I don't think that's the case here. Take a look at Rush, they're all in their mid 50s and they're still doing epic shows. Bruce Springsteen is known for doing 3-4 hour long shows, and how old is he? I could go on and on, but that's enough examples.

I don't know what caused our dearest Morrissey to collapse last night, but I'm willing to bet that old age has nothing to do with it.
