Stoners Need Apply: U.C. Santa Cruz Hiring a Full-Time Grateful Dead Archivist

Calling all stoners: The University of California, Santa Cruz is looking to hire a full-time archivist for their Grateful Dead Archive — what the college is calling a “career status position.” Minimum requirements, according to the classified ad, include a master’s degree in “archives management” (is that even an actual major?); experience working with books, photos and recordings (bootlegging Dead concerts presumably counts); and “expert knowledge” of the “influence of the Grateful Dead.”
