It has been a secret of the music industry for years! Milli Vanilli is far from being the only group that ever lipsynced & Auto tune existed long before Tpain,but these are just some tricks more & more artist are using these days at an alarming rate! Autotune is used by pretty much everyone in today's pop & rap scene! This along with dancers on stage in live shows ,doing a classic magic trick of taking the viewer's eye away from the performer,as to make it less clear that they are miming along to prerecorded material, has led many musicians who actually write & perform to ask the simple question "Has the music industry became more about looks then sound? Many also wish to challenge performers who use auto tune &/or mime in their live show's to do all acoustic shows just to prove that they can sing! Of course we all know these challenges have not been accepted by too many & as a result such artist are getting a somewhat underground club of haters! Some people point out that a lot of the artist using auto tune &/or miming on stage tend to be overly egocentric!!! (COUGH Kanye!!! Caugh)
