Sigur Ros singer-guitarist Jón Pór Birgisson has announced details about his forthcoming debut solo album. Birgisson is set to release his first solo, entitled ‘Go‘, on March 22, 2010 under the name Jonsi.

    • This is one of the songs off the solo album (Boy Lilikoi), featuring the usual euphoric choruses and strings that are in so many Sigur Ros songs. The music in this tune is amazing. One thing that's very different though is the language the song is sung in. Instead of the usual Icelandic or Hopelandic (the band's made up dialect), this song is in English. Hearing the lyrics sung by Jonsi in a language I can understand actually takes a bit of getting used to.
