Chicago's All-Vinyl DJ night!
Four DJ's Tyrel Williams, Stephen P, Blue J and Julian Pena host Chicago's only All-Vinyl Event at the Smartbar called ACID TEST! Not many dj's can say the same for their nights but these guys hold true to the original tools-of-the-trade...records! House music to disco with techno inbetween, these guys bring it every month!!
It's crazy to think that records have become a novelty idea in the DJ world. Most people carry around a book of CDs or a laptop to showcase their music to an unknowing crowd. Ah, but there are still those faithful few that chose a thoughtful set of wax discs to rock the party. Thank goodness for the Acid Test DJ's!
There's just too much music in the world and you'd be ignorant to think that all of it is on mp3 or CD, as well as vice-versa. There are records that this crew has that people have been searching years to find and still come up short with low quality mp3's.
