    • It took me four attempts but I finally stayed awake through the whole thing. It really is a very pleasant album. Just don't listen to it in the car while you're driving. I think that these guys are the 21st century version of Steely Dan.

The Cool Kids-Gone Fishing and Adrian Champions-Stars and Stripes. Both great albums. But The Cool Kids get the better vote because Adrian Champions was just rap mixed in with The White Stripes

      i guess?

if you really wanna look at it that way the cool kids just rap over beats by don cannon (some production from inglish). adrian champion produced a whole album of mostly sick tracks from white stripes samples. one or two are mashups, but the rest took some work.

i dunno, good stuff is good stuff.

    • jfill:

actually all the beats were produced by chuck inglish and don cannon just helped them finish the mixtape. Just because Don Cannon's name is said every 5 seconds on the mixtape doesn't mean he made all the tracks

    • jfill:

"Jonathan "J.P." Keller, Chuck Inglish, Don Cannon"

usually when a person is given a production credit it means they had something to do with production. and if you really want to get picky, "gone fishing" is just an updated "the bake sale".

but like i said, good stuff is good stuff and it should be left at that. i was just bringing up the flipside of your argument. but im done playing the "which good album is best" game.
