BetterBlend: DJ J-Live “Do The Knowledge vol. 1 (The Late Pass) 2009 Hip Hop”

There’s no denying the skill-level of J-Live, be it on the microphone or behind the turntables (which may very well be Serato). Which is the reason why I snatched up his “Best of ‘09″ mix entitled Do The Knowledge vol. 1 (The Late Pass) as soon I caught a breif mention of it in the Twitter-sphere. The mix, which J was nice enough to post up on Bandcamp, features some of 2009’s most memorable singles from names like Jay Electronica, Mos Def, Senor Kaos, and Tiye Phoenix.

    • Thanks for this. I just downloaded it and will give it a listen soon. I really dig J-live. There are a lot of mixed tapes out now so it can be hard to wade through all the ok ones to find the great ones but the track list on this look fantastic. Thanks again for the post
