P-Star is the name and she’s rocking the scene
Only nine summers old but she ain’t no green bean
Puerto Rican and proud, and a pro on the mic
She is cruisin’ in a Hummer while you’re still on a trike

Flashing bling and spittin’ fierce lyrics, Priscilla Star Diaz is a force to be reckoned with. In the documentary, “P-Star Rising,” director Gabriel Noble follows the ambitious young girl and her family for four years -- from age nine until she hits thirteen -- recording both the heady highs and discouraging setbacks in her bid for stardom.
