A brand new leak from the upcoming AFROMATIKNEOHIPPIEROCK*SOLEMUZIK* LP from NYC emcee Kalae All Day

Kalae All Day first caught my attention when she dropped the single “O.G. Lyrikalbookbagger” back in February (here). That track featured Kalae showing off a rapid-fire tongue-in-cheek style over an infectious, hand clapping beat provided by producer Roger Bong. This week the New York rapper will be releasing her AFROMATIKNEOHIPPIEROCK*SOLEMUZIK LP (March 17th) and to help maintain her growing buzz, she has released a new single called “BreakitDown”. The single is in the same vein as “O.G. Lyrikalbookbagger” as it feature an addictive beat from producer and emcee Mic Wilson, who also drops a guest verse for the single. Kalae All Day brings her witty style with a touch of “singsongy” vocalizing that is hard to describe but I’m sure you’ll recognize immediately (if you don’t already know what I’m talking about). All of these ingredients come together to make a really fun and upbeat track that’s full of soul. Perfect addition to your Spring-time playlist.

“BreakitDown” is from the upcoming release AFROMATIKNEOHIPPIEROCK*SOLEMUZIK , which will be available for purchase directly from the artist via BandCamp on 03.17.10: Kalae All Day’s BandCamp page
