Music video for the first single off of John Butler Trio's newest album, April Uprising.
April Uprising is a potent mixture of rock, hip hop, and reggae/dance hall dominated by Butler’s incredible guitar playing and thoughtful, intelligent lyrics. The first single, “One Way Road,” is already climbing the Triple A charts and the accompanying video is set to premiere on VH1.
Featuring new bandmates Nicky Bomba (drums and percussion) and Byron Luiters (bass), the newly revitalized JBT recorded the album at Butler’s studio, The Compound, in Western Australia with long-time engineer Robin Mai.
