A Beautiful South fan has had her stereo system confiscated after blasting out their greatest hits into the early hours.
The woman, who has not been named, had tormented nearby families by playing the band's tracks from 1am until 5am, then neighbours were finally able to get some rest.
The noise was reported to have been going on since July.
A Birmingham council spokesman said "I put noise monitoring equipment in and the music was so loud and you could clearly hear some of the lyrics to the Beautiful South's songs.
"You could also hear the Housemartin's Caravan of Love. The noise was horrendous for people nearby.
