I. Write and Pro Keds team up to develop new sneaker and tee shirt line. August 1, 2010 is the official launch date for the new line called BE University.
The project ties the brand recognition of Pro Keds with the style and marketing potential of rapper, I. Write and the rising What Label? International roster. The line will release 20 new designs, reminiscent of the original canvas Keds, exclusively created by I. Write.
When asked how these dynamic designs came to be I. Write explains, “The custom designs are a part of a new project courtesy of LABz and Zazzle. I can’t wait to unveil the line. It fits the character, the persona we have here at What Label? Freedom of expression is what it is all about. “
What Label? International CEO, Kiley Brown states, “The What Label? paradigm is all about educating and empowering today’s indie artist. I. Write is a great example in that he is proactively building his brand. Rest assured that the world will see much more than they’re used to from What Label? artists including I. Write."
