Phoenix Theatre and the Phoenix Symphony to make beautiful music together

Image
Phoenix Symphony will launch its 2010-11 season in an historic marriage with the renowned Phoenix Theatre in a joint semi-staged concert of Meredith Willson and Franklin Lacey's masterwork The Music Man, beginning a most auspicious three experiment and collaboration that promises to recreate for Valley audiences the very best of Broadway. The sounds of Willson's 76 Trombones will be filling the Symphony Hall auditorium on September 10,11 and 12, led by Maestro Michael Christie and staged by PT's Producing Artistic Director Michael Barnard.
