There used to be advertising posters plastered on the walls of New York City subway stations that showed smiling African-, Native- and Asian-Americans with a slogan that said:
“You don’t have to be Jewish to enjoy Levy’s Real Jewish Rye.”
Those old ads came to mind as I watched “Music of Ireland -- Welcome to America” and came to realize the impact Irish songs and melodies have had in America.
In short: you don’t have to be Irish the other 364 days of the year (obviously, St. Patrick’s Day doesn’t count because we’re all Irish then) to thoroughly enjoy this show.
