Dissidenten live at the International Danube Festival.
Water is not just the elixir that makes life possible at all, but also one of the global hotbeds of conflicts in the future. The project “Memory of the Waters” was premiered in 2001 as production of the German National Radio SWR for the International Danube Festival in Ulm (Germany). It symbolizes this connection musically and visually. “Memory of the Waters” is connecting the rich musical treasures of the Berlin Band Dissidenten with the avant-garde compositions of Dissidenten and impressive video installations. The premiere in Ulm included more than 100 musicians on stage, including guest soloists like Charlie Mariano (USA), Manickam Yogeswaran (India) and Noujoum Ouazza (Morocco).
