UPDATE: Joe Budden, Crooked I, Joell Ortiz and Royce Da 5'9" have been added to the 6th Paid Dues Festival, which already includes a legendary lineup.
Always one of the years premier Independent Hip Hop festivals, Murs and Guerilla Union team up once again for the sixth annual Paid Dues. This years show will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2011 to the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA. Brooklyn’s own Mos Def and Talib Kweli will team up as Black Star to co-headline the event with Immortal Technique and Murs.
“I’m excited to announce this year’s headliners for Paid Dues much earlier than expected,” Guerilla Union’s Chang Weisberg said. “It’s like giving your friends an early Christmas gift. I’m thrilled that Mos Def and Talib Kweli recognize the importance of participating with an independent platform like Paid Dues. This will be Immortal Technique’s first appearance at Paid Dues. His performance not only brings immense independent credibility, but also accents the political importance of the Black Star / Immortal Technique marquee bookings”.
