Jedward to fly the flag for Ireland in Düsseldorf

Ireland chosen their act for the Eurovision Song Contest on Friday night, and decided that Jedward will be representing their country.

Jedward, who were previous X Factor contestants, beat Nikki Kavanagh by 2 points. John and Edward are very popular in Ireland with their album "Planet Jedward" topping the Irish album chart. Jedward will be competing in the second semi-finals on the 12th May fighting for a space in the finals on the 14th. Their track is titled "Lipstick".
