The D.O.C. is the guy who ghostwrote most of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg's and N.W.A.'s songs, as well as many other rappers songs out there. By far the most prolific ghostwriters in the rap game, who doesn't get the credit he deserves. The D.O.C. also signed with Ruthless and debut his album "No One Can Do It Better" in 1989. Considered to be one of top 20 rap albums ever.
The D.O.C.'s vocal cords were tragically smashed in a car accident not long after this album was released.
Single: "It's Funky Enough"

Easy-E used his profits made from selling drugs to start his record company "Ruthless" with Jerry Heller. Around the same time Ruthless put out N.W.A.'s first album, Easy put out a solo album "Eazy-Duz-It".

Dagum:
I should note that "N.W.A. and Posse," precedes this album, but it's a compilation album of various Ruthless artists and not a full N.W.A's album. It was originally released in 1987 by Macola Records and re-released in 1989 by Ruthless Records, substituting another N.W.A song for the one by Rappinstine
It includes some Dr. Dre tracks, Eazy-E, N.W.A., Fila Fresh Crew(Fresh K and the D.O.C.)
A lot of mildly to very famous people appear on this album cover. From DJ Train, Sir Jinx, Candyman (his single "Knockin' Boots" would later become somewhat popular) to Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and Easy-E.
