Strangers In America

“We the people” back in the day consisted of my immaculate family, seven souls cruising in a two tone sky blue Ford station wagon; hello, muddha, hello faddah…five freckled faced mouths to feed on the way to Cape Coda. The road was filled with elbow flying, request denying, girl boy crying ecstasy. It was a small world after all; a string thing strung like oxygen molecules on the July 4th air or fire hazard Christmas tree bulbs adorning an imperfect pine.http://infinitetolerance.com/personal/strangers-america/

    • So your saying I over did the strings in the intro? Did you even get as far as his Holiness Ronald Reagan? How about an 5 minute experiment that could benefit us both: you go back read the piece (please more than that deceptively well written propaganda portion) and if you still think the Koch brothers are on my holiday season wish list, Ill send you a free tee-shirt (of Dave and Charlie in drag). Oh and thanks for responding but please not so hasty! Steve M

Stephen, I'm pleased that your civility hooked me into listening. Hmmh, dude, you do have the music in you. I listened to two songs, and they are cooooLL. And, a wordsmith you are.

There is so much to do, say and organize, in the effort to pull as many threads of political concern and interest as possible together, in order to move forward in action, that I don't take time to peruse the very lengthy posts, unless I'm pre directed to them with a heads up.

You are a good writer, and one that stops to show and share the scent, sounds and sights of the environment that accompanies your words. Not to mention the memories, as well. lol. I see you have broad shoulders so I'm sure you are not stressed by my hastiness. You have a convert if it's any consolation. I definitely up your post.

Oh, you may want to consider bringing your performances to Washington during the March On Washington, May 5th to the 8th. We're striving for a million person plus attendance. People from all over the country have already responded as coming on the facebook page.

BTW, do you mean that you like to sing your music, or "sign" your music? I can imagine that you might be referring to signing the discs you sell at concerts. There's an idea! Perform and sell your discs at on the Capitol Mall in May?

      Peace......

    • This commenter is referring to the delusion that most of us were under, "back in the day", that government was actually on our side and protecting us; "back in the day", before corporate America had sucked so much blood from our veins that we were not yet fainting and suffering chronic anemia related fatigue!

The music is EXCELLENT and the lyrics are original and poetic! It's definitely worth a listen to the soundtracks.
