Mafioso rap, as it sounds, is based on crime, a sub-genre of hiphop which started in late 1980s and flourished in mid 1990s.It is the counterpart of West Coast G-Funk rap and is the pseudo-Mafia extension of East Coast hard core rap. Mafioso rap is mostly based on lavish and luxurious fantasies of mobsters or Mafiosi. These music videos show stylized depictions of mafia wars with such lyrics.
