I can still remember first listening to the De Anza Jig when driving through Kansas to Colorado. Gotta love Les Claypool's ability to bring that genre to a completely different audience.

Thanks for the awful music. Can you and your friends stop real-life stalking me and others?

Have you tried changing your name? How do they keep finding you? I have no idea who anyone really is if they do not provide identifying information.

How do you know I'm using my real name? It could be an alias. . After they posted all my info online, hiding behind fake names doesn't make much sense, huh? Maybe I should post the videos of some in thier group. Treat them like they do me. What would you do?
As to how they keep finding me is really simple. They are old-obsessive individuals that know my address.

I don't know anything about you. You are words on a screen in my world. As are most people here. Because this is the internet and even exposure of people's identities blows over and is forgotten among the endless input, you should not be so concerned. If someone that you do not like sends you something, delete without opening. When you ignore the people that are bothering you, they will go away because there is no reason for them to keep bothering you without the pay off of reaction.

You are exactly right. I don't want to be here. I don't want to discuss politics because I feel unrepresented by both parties. I just want to go. The problem arises when I know they are doing to other people what they did to me. They don't care whether someone kills themself. They do not care if they break the law. How can I leave when I know people's lives are at stake? If I knew they wouldn't keep stalking me and hurting others, I would leave and never be heard from agian.
Can you give me your word that you will oppose any real-life stalking of others and discourage exposure of people's personal info on-line? That will give me comfort and provide me with a clear mind to leave.
I don't want anyone to get hurt. I don't care if they are the most ardent republican either. Life is sacred and irreplaceable.

I can give you my word that as a rule I fight the good fight to the best of my ability for mankind because that is my nature. I never give up anyone's personal information, but that is just habit. It is inconsiderate and a violation of trust. I would not want anyone to do it to me, so I do not do it to anyone else.
Although I have seen the terrible effect on internet stalking and bullying on people, I have to say, ultimately, it is the victim that gives the power to the predator. The only exception is the very young. Adolescents can be pushed over the edge with very little provocation because they are so vulnerable and think that their feelings are permanent and not the transient things that emotions actually are. But adults have the choice to ignore, close accounts, change names or turn off the computer.
I mean no offense when I ask, if you don't want to be here, then why have you come? From what I gather, you are trying to warn us about internet personalities. That is sort of noble but doesn't it become a double edged sword when you start throwing out names and accusing them of bad behavior? I understand being passionate about something, but to become what you hate may not be the answer.
I am not very happy with ardent republicans because I feel they are misguided because their leaders are simply corporate spokesmodels. However, I do not hate the people, merely the detriment that comes to us all from choosing bad leadership. I am not terribly happy with democrats for that matter. Independents like Bernie Sanders seem to be the only ones that do not make me want to vomit.
Life is sacred and irreplaceable. I agree with you there. I just think that you are giving too much credence to words on a screen.
As far as the things that go on in real life, contact law enforcement. Keep offending messages and try to document anything peculiar to present to the police.
Current is a nice site with a mostly conscientious and decent community of all different opinions. We do not make bad people feel comfortable as a rule. I feel fortunate that I was never an HP participant because it sounds like the wild, wild west over there. Current's community generally makes me feel optimistic about the future even when most hard facts do not.
Peace out. :)
