Obama is the one still supporting the Prohibition, which is more "Jim Crow" than a bunch of impoverished Alabamians being expected to accept being forced into wage slavery by their employers who are using cheap migrant labor as a tool in class-war...)

    • I lived in South Carolina for 4 years and you are full of crap.
      liberals are good and conservatives are bad and the south is basically a third-world country that we northerners are trying to bring into the civilized world.
      Why did the south lose the civil war?...Because they put shoes on all-ya and you couldn't walk!

    • Has lived a few years in the South (those years he wasn't living in the North).... And it's elitism everywhere, and the rich people are screwing us all over, using immigrants as a tool against all lower paid people... And then having the media push the "racist" rhetoric....

      (and half the rocket-surgeons around here spew and lap that shit up....)

      But the "Northern" elitist mentality... Or the elitism of the political idealogs... It's old, you're not better because you're a liberal, or a conservative. You're not better because of your region... And the 12 year old mentalities that go into promoting those perspectives around here are about stupid, as well as the same type of elitist shit perpetuated by Wall-Street...

      It's only wrong if the other guy does it... That just de-legitimatizes everyones argument... We're either equal, and only judged by the content of our characters and actions, or we're going no where...

      And if we are to ever get along, at some point in time the right/left illusion has got to be matured beyond....

      Even "dumb" southerners see that shit... It's a tool in class-war... If someone is "inferior" it's so much easier to treat them subhuman...

      Should know where the damn civil rights movement started around here....

      And yes, the average small business (in labor), and even rich ass Californians would rather hire a undocumented immigrant they don't have to pay, than a legal U.S. resident...

      Yeah the politicians have their reasons, but the average American has a whole different set of reasons, that aren't the most destructive or hateful to those not born here...
