    • I think at like mile 17 the San Francisco marathon had water, energy drinks, and free beer!!! Although I would have loved that free beer, i was too busy worrying about finishing.

    • Hee...this reminds me of doing the Honolulu Marathon. We ran through downtown Honolulu towards the beginning of the run, which means it was about 6am or so. We passed a bar filled with people drinking and cheering us on...and there was a banner across the road that offered "$1 Guinness for all Marathoners!" Genius.
