An Italian pensioner faces a custodial sentence for getting in touch with his feminine side and painting his house a beautiful pink colour. Unfortunately for him, his house is not only situated on the Italian national park Cinque Terre but is also a UNESCO world heritage site.
The owner, Giuliani Contadino's response to this has surely sealed his fate, with him quoted as saying "Some policemen came to tell me what I had done was wrong. I told them they could help me repaint it if it was such a problem." Know of any pensioners that have fought the power, let us know!!
