OK, this story is getting juicy! Now police say they have arrested the missing canoeist in connection with the disappearance of John Darwin in 2002. The report is a bit vague, but others are saying that in fact police have been investigating the Panama connection for three months, and may have known that Darwin was alive for six months! The wife has been contacted in Panama and she says she plans to come back to Britain to see her husband, although not right away because of visa issues. Unfortunately for her she did claim life insurance "in good faith" but may be required to repay it... This is leading to a lot of speculation about whether Darwin's death was a scam. This is strange.
