They created a bright flash of light, followed by the image of a mushroom cloud. A group of Czech artists who staged a fake nuclear blast over national television will be sent to criminal trial, a state prosecutor said Thursday.

I remember seeing this when it happened; I laughed. The scary thing is: they were charged with "spreading false information." How very Eastern Bloc of them.
This simple, elegant, memorable, and progressive piece of work should be lauded. The kinds of autocratic media we are trying to take power from with tools like current are the same as the ones these artists were fighting.
