At least 50 people in India have reportedly lost their vision after gazing at the sun looking for an image of Virgin Mary.

Way to go human race, you still amaze me!

    • It's natural selection at it's finest. Although I can't blame these Indians for it. No doubt the missionaries who converted them are the cause. Still, though, it seems like they'd blink and turn away before they go blind. It's amazing what people can be convinced of!

    • Two things.

      First Darwin would either be amazed at the level of stupidity shown......or be laughing himself to death.

      Two I do see A feminine face on the toast, but that does NOT mean it's the face of the Virgin Mary.

    • Do it right and there's money in Virgin Mary sightings. One woman reckoned she'd found Jesus's mum in a grilled cheese sandwich and kept it by her bed for 10 years. The fact it didn't rot showed how magical it was apparently.

      Well, the Golden Palace Casino agreed and bought the sandwich on Ebay for $28,000.

      Yep. 28 THOUSAND dollars.
