She had never heard of the Cuban missile crisis until recently, maybe it's because as a woman she just doesn't know these things.

osmosis is "the diffusion of water through a cell wall or membrane or any semi-permeable barrier from a solution of low solute concentration to a solution with high solute concentration".
so I guess what would explain why men better understand military technology.
oh wait...no that's right, osmosis has nothing to do what she's talking about. the word she's looking for is "magic".
well I certainly don't think she's ignorant because she's a woman, it's more likely because she's an American and working in the Bush administration, I mean that's 2 strikes right off the bat. but still, it shouldn't be an acceptable excuse for her to fall back on.
