Arthur Ross Cradock faces 75 hours of community service after dialing up police to complain that a frisky wombat raped him. The 48-year-old orchard worker told authorities that the rape occurred at his home and that he needed assistance, but later called back to retract his claim, saying, “Apart from speaking Australian now, I’m pretty all right you know.” Kooky Cradock pled guilty to using a phone for a fictitious purpose and will likely owe wombats an apology.
