Long-time homosexual activist Frank Kameny's claim to fame is successfully manipulating the American Psychiatric Association into declassifying homosexuality as a mental disorder, and today the Smithsonian honoree is now busily advocating bestiality "as long as the animal doesn't mind."

    • It's crap like this that validates people's belief that gay sex is no different from sex with animals.
      People really do believe that there is a "gay agenda" which can result in the normalization of sodomizing animals.
      Sex should be between two fully consenting individuals, both of whom are entering the act knowing fully what it involves.
      Animals can not do that.
      I'm stating the obvious here, I know. But it's frustrating to see a gay man making these kind of assertions. I see it as a real set back.

    • I realize that there are a lot of people out there and they all have different interests. But somehow I just don't get it. I don't understand how someone can look at a goat or a cow and think "hey lets go back to my place and have a good time" ???

      Nope, humans are NOT descendants of monkeys - monkeys and apes (humans belong to the latter group in the sub-group of Greater Apes) descend from a common protosimian ancestor.

    • How will you ever be 100% sure they want it unless they initiate it?

      That's like the bogus idea some people have when they rape men: "If he didn't want it, why was his penis erect?" The body can react regardless of what someone actually wants. Just because you successfully penetrate doesn't mean the victim wanted it.

      APA approval will just open the door to a bunch of people who will slip through loopholes and technicalities.

      ignoring the bestiality part:

      anyone who truly believes that homosexuality is a mental disorder, or that people CHOOSE to be spit on, beaten, or murdered because they love another of the same sex, is purely naive, bigoted, and homophobic.

      back to the bestiality part: so the Kameny guy is a wack job for saying that. who doesn't f up from time to time anyway? i'm gay, i was born that way, and i've never even heard of him before this article.
