The Skeksis are alive and well in Russia, well... not really alive and not really well... but it appears they are there. Has anyone seen any Gelfs around lately because according to this prophecy we need one...
"When single shines the triple sun,
What was sundered and undone
Shall be whole, the two made one,
By Gelfling hand, or else by none."(R.I.P. Jim Henson, thanks for the childhood memories!)

If that was alive it could be a threat to humanity.Yet it might be a hoax like most Unknown Creatures.

I agree with the crypto site that the dentition seems to molar in shape to be truly whale, but at the same time it certainly isn't a croc or a gator by the same measure. The dentition is totally wrong for either of those as well. I can't really see the postcranial details, but a whale is what I'll agree with until proven otherwise. The idea that it was found with fur is likely something it picked up after it washed ashore, imho. Not that I'm an expert, cryptozoology is just a hobby for me. Now if it was a humanoid, I'd be able to speak with some authority...

I thought it looked like an alligator topped off with tar and asphalt. Maybe it is mutant! Just trying to adapt to city life.

More pictures at the link to English Russia in the original article, the spine is too big for the rest of the thing. Looks like it was put together from scraps. Still, excellent job. I have a feeling that whoever made it is going to have a career in the Creature Shop of a Russian movie company.

For all we know, it could be a species that we know that was mutated through radiation poisoning, or heck blame it on global warming.
