IS it cool to use SEX to SELL???

Attach sexuality to any goods or services and it blows up right ???

Love it or hate it, sex sells !!!

But why exactly ??? is it biological wiring or are we obsessed with it??

I mean there is so much in life, nature and humor all around. There's food and art and yet somehow nothing gets the attention that sex does...

and is it something we should look at, challenge and change within us? Or do we just accept the somewhat exploitation of our humanness and our human desires ...

    • does it not come down to eveyone wanting to be stimulated every once and a while.. i think it does! so therefore we click away at hope to what we might find... who said temptation was bad...

      The video link I just posted is over the issue of Photoshop and if we should ban it or put up warning labels...

      I think this is a great video for young women who may think that the final images they see are real and the standard of beauty. The warning labels wouldn't work because there is too much money in advertising? Parents need to provide their daughters (and sons) with a positive cross-section of media and info, while teaching them to think critically. :)

    • I think that it is over-used but always an attention grabber. It will always be used to sell products/services to a certain demographic. The only problem I have with 'selling sex' is that advertisers start to define what Is considered sexy by their projections.

    • Dumb thing to do ?? it works very well in completing the goal.. why fight the nature of things ??

      If you need something to get from point a to b, you can push it or just put some wheels on it..

      That is of course you have no moral issues with wheels, you might think they are evil !!!

      Dedemetal, I will agree with Cheesy ... it does get cheessy ...

      So Huntre, I take it you are not a fan of sexuality???

      My question, why is there so much negativity around sex ?????

    • It gets really cheesy and it dumbs things down. I just wish people were more creative. It is like a bad "trick" people fall back on
