    • I think it's a very relevant story. I myself have ADD and some other Un-diagnosed (labeled) learning disorder so i can relate. Personally though, I'm tired of hearing about it because i don't need to be reminded that I'm different. I'm like that only because thats how I need to move forward. And I'm almost at peace too.

      Good work!

    • This is a great piece with real raw emotion. The son's actions feel like a betrayal to parents who clearly love him. Very compelling.

Nicely shot and edited. Current should pick this up.

    • Dont vote down a submission because you dont like the characters.

A piece needs to be evaluated in its entirety...how well was it shot, edited, produced, how well does it tell the story. You do not have to like the characters to still be moved by a piece. Life is never cut and dried.

A better thing to do rather than vote down the submission is to leave a comment as to what you feel what you dont like about in the story. It is far more constructive and encourages more interaction

I think that this is well done. The music and scene transitions are good, the scenes where Chris is acting like a fool are as much of a story as when you see him sitting in a slumped resigned posture. The use of still photos of the family while he was growing up is good. The fact that the father is not in the video but is in all of the family photos says there are parts of the story that are not told.

In many ways the story is as much about the mother dealing with loving and being frustrated by this overgrown child as it is about Chris...an alternate title could have been "Dealing with Chris".

Just because the mother is making excuses for his behavior by mentioning ADHD doesnt mean that she is accepting of the choices he is making. A parent will be quick to defend out of love while struggling to know how to deal with the individual
