No one would blame nine-year-old Toby Taylor for running quickly back into the house after finding a cheetah in his back garden. The cheetah had apparently escaped from the nearby Hamerton Zoo, in Cambridgeshire, and run into the family's garden after getting out of his enclosure though a faulty electric fence.
"He wouldn't pose any danger and his reaction to strangers would be the same as a pet dog - either a friendly greeting or a guarded retreat," he said. "I do not know of any cases of a cheetah attacking a human."
Aah, how cute, a cheetah greeting you like a pet dog... wouldn't catch me taking any chances though!
