What happened to this medium it used to be news now recently it seems like more and more fluff.
Agree or disagree let's talk about it.

    • What gets me the most is that there is no Moderators for Current that take any interest. A company like this should have 1-2 moderators working on reading stories and prioritizing them. I see the same old story sitting in featured for a day or two .. nobody cares because it has no views or responses. What gives?? Then a story breaks, somebody puts it up and it gets buried in crap of 20 articles about G20 and the rest about stuff that absolutely nobody cares about. It's messed up. I hope current changes that.

    • I know what you mean about the blog thing, fine share your blog link once.Beyond that is it really necessary to add it as a story to Current.com everytime you update it?

    • Yeah I swear as of late everything on Current is something that I just saw on Stumble Upon the other day...

I wish people weren't so lazy that they couldn't search or "manually" stumble upon interesting news...

I guess for those that don't use Stumble Upon (does anyone not use it?) it's a good way to get stuff out... but it's just annoying to those of us that have seen it already... 5 times... because stumble upon keeps showing it to me again and again!

The thing that's been bugging me most is all of the blogs disguised as stories people keep posting lately. There are at least 5 people who have been spamming links to their blogs (or others not sure) about recent news and it's beginning to get old. Not to mention some of them will redirect you to a completely different page if you look at the page too long.
