anything involving Republicans or Conservative ideologies.
Then cigarettes, War on Drugs, Iraq, Afghanistan and the list goes on in descending order.

Ironically, religious conservatism.
They spend millions in preventing the most inevitable of things like gay marriage and embryonic research.

The BBC license fee is not the biggest waste of money in the world.
That is a ridiculous assertion.
Commercial broadcasting has more or less collapsed (with the exception of Current and some of Skys investment lately) and is cancelling anything that might cost some cash to make and relying on pure entertainment formats. The BBC continues to take risks and invest in some of the best drama in the world, the best documentary programming, constantly evolves its technological and online offering, super serves all audiences, offers pretty much the most impartial news coverage available in the entire world. And it costs £130 pear year.
I pay about £50 per month for a subscription to cable TV at the moment and people dont moan about paying for commercial companies who operate to make a profit.
Here is a solution for you....if the BBC were able to switch off peoples use of their services for non payment of the fee, then people would soon shut up and pay the cash. They would notice EastEnders, Match of the day, golf, snooker, intelligent documentaries, well made mass entertainment, The 7 excellent world beating national radio networks and the BBC's local news service - which in the absence of all the local news papers that have gone bust and the fact commercial broadcasters have shut down all their news rooms - is set to be the only provider of local news.
Oh and lets not forget the various orchestras, cultural projects, live popular music events they put on.
The BBC is not a waste of money-this is from someone who has spent their entire working life in commercial broadcasting.
Cocaine is a waste of money - all that cash for a 15 minute high and it usually turns out to be mainly salt anyway. Discuss. That and the fact it can lead you to trouble with the police.
